February post bar 

(commitment minimum 40 hours a week)

March 10, 2025 – May 2, 2025

• Application Deadline: November 29, 2024
• Interviews: December 6 – December 13, 2024
• DA Notification of Candidate’s Acceptance into Program: December 18, 2024
• Candidate’s Decision to Participate in Program: January 6, 2025

2L honors summer session 

(commitment minimum 40 hours a week)

May 27, 2025 – August 1, 2025

Deadlines:

• Application Deadline: August 23, 2024
• Interviews: September 3–6, 2024
• DA Notification of Candidate’s Acceptance into Program: September 9, 2024
• Candidate’s Decision to Participate in Program: September 11, 2024
   

Summer session for 1Ls only 

(commitment minimum 40 hours a week)

May 27, 2025 – August 1, 2025

Deadlines:

• Application Deadline: February 7, 2025
•  Interviews: February 24-28, 2025
•  DA Notification of Candidate’s Acceptance into Program: March 5, 2025
•  Candidate’s Decision to Participate in Program: March 7, 2025

July returning honors post bar program 

(commitment minimum 40 hours a week)
This program is limited to returning 2L honors clerks only. 

September 2, 2025 – November 8, 2025

July volunteer post bar program

Deadlines:

• September 2, 2025 – November 7, 2025
• Application Deadline: May 2, 2025
•  Interviews completed by May 16, 2025
•  DA Notification of Candidate’s Acceptance into Program: May 23, 2025
•  Candidate’s Decision to Participate in Program: May 28, 2025

Note: While each internship has a specific start and end date, we realize that school schedules or other issues might necessitate minor adjustments. With advance notice, our office will do our best to accommodate these requests.

When applying   Please submit the following documents preferably scanned in one PDF file to [email protected]: Cover letter stating: a) which law clerk program you are applying for, and b) why you are interested in an internship with our office; Copy of your resume; Writing sample; Proof of graduation from college (a photocopy of your diploma or transcript from an undergraduate institution showing graduation date will suffice); Proof that you are enrolled in law school and in good standing (a note from the registrar will suffice); Copy of your law school transcript; and  A color copy of your driver’s license. The following needs to be submitted when a position is accepted:  Paid 1L intern and 2L honors clerks will need to submit an official employment application through HR.
