Wellness Wednesdays: Virtual drop-in support
Join our in-house clinician for confidential one-on-one support every Wednesday, 8am-9am & 7pm-8pm. Each session is limited to 30 minutes, with an opportunity for a follow-up.
Psychoeducation
The Center offers a variety of virtual workshops which are meant to be brief and interactive training opportunities to learn about challenges and help you develop coping techniques to address specific challenges to help foster a deeper understanding of your mental health and wellbeing.
Psychological First Aid (PFA) Training - Bill Wilson Center
PFA prepares you to help people during tough times and care for yourself. This training will:
- Teach you the basics of PFA
- Help you listen and understand people’s reactions in a crisis
- Guide you in supporting others and knowing when they need more help
- Provide tools for self-care
If you are a victim of a crime, victim advocates can guide you through the criminal justice system, explain your rights, provide updates on your case, and accompany you to court if needed. They can also assist you in applying for help from the California Victims’ Compensation Board.
After a traumatic event, victim advocates can assess your needs and help coordinate support for food, housing, income, education, and legal assistance.
