The 526 Resiliency Center

Advocates at The 526 Resiliency Center serve as the bridge between you, the criminal justice system, and the services in place to help you figure out the next steps after being a victim of a crime.

If you are a victim of a crime, victim advocates can guide you through the criminal justice system, explain your rights, provide updates on your case, and accompany you to court if needed. They can also assist you in applying for help from the California Victims’ Compensation Board. 

After a traumatic event, victim advocates can assess your needs and help coordinate support for food, housing, income, education, and legal assistance.
